Women are often made to feel like they are being more or less completely irrational at any given point in time even in situations where their feelings are completely valid in some way, shape or form. There are situations where women might be blowing things out of proportion, but this is true for men as well and you should always be wary of disrespect in a relationship. A big part of the reason why that is the case has to do with the fact that if you don’t make it known that you will not tolerate such behavior, the people that you might end up dating at one point or another would try to take advantage of you in a way that would be truly unpleasant.
One major sign of disrespect in a relationship that you should pay attention to is whether or not your partner listens to you when you talk. A lot of people might want to make you feel like they are listening the in actuality they would not be absorbing any of the things that you truly say, and if you were to ask them about what you were just talking about then chances are that they really wouldn’t have all that many answers that you would consider to be truly worthwhile.
This is the sort of disrespect that you should absolutely not stand for. If your partner behaves like this, you might just be better off dumping them and finding someone who would truly value you for who you are and would give the things that you are saying a more than reasonable amount of acceptance. This can result in you enjoying much better relationships.
